Everyone at The Music Shoppe- as well as experts across many different fields- believes that music is fundamental to a great education. No other subject can inspire creativity, teamwork, or social growth like music. But there's also a much simpler answer: Music is fun!

Getting Started
Rentals begin with a simple, one-month down payment. After your first month, your payment will be determined by your chosen instrument and rental plan.

Oboe, Saxophones, French Horn, Baritone, Tuba, Large Percussion
Commitment-Free Renting
We know that kids can change their minds. After the down payment, rentals continue on a month-to-month basis.
If your student's musical interest changes, you may exchange your instrument and apply accrued equity, or simply return it to stop payments.
Rent-to-Own vs Rent-to-Rent
Rent-to-Own
Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone & Percussion
With our Rent-to-Own program, you choose your monthly payment! Instruments are available in several categories that are distinguished by brand and condition:
- Platinum instruments are brand-new from the industry's top brands: Yamaha and Conn-Selmer.
- Gold options include new, less expensive models OR returned Platinum instruments.
- Silver includes new, value-priced instruments OR returned Gold-level instruments.
- Bronze plans are exclusively used instruments. These will show light cosmetic wear.
While renting, 100% of your rental principal applies toward purchase. At any time, you can choose to pay your rental off early to receive an additional 30% discount off the remaining balance.
Rent-to-Rent

These Rent-to-Rent instruments are unique in that students are encouraged to start on simpler, beginner-friendly models.
After gaining playing experience, students can upgrade to a more complex instrument that will take them further in school.
Our Rent-to-Rent program is designed to make this transition as easy as possible!
This plan offers an affordable monthly payment and may continue for as long as you like!
When you are ready to consider a purchase, whether a beginner- or advanced-level horn, you may rollover up to 14 months of rental equity toward outright purchase or a customized Rent-to-Own plan.
